The Dadia-Lefkimi-Soufli Forest National Park Information Center is located in Dadia, about 800 meters from the main square of the village, at the heart of the protected area. It is operating since August 1994, promoting the protection of nature in the area, providing information and raising awareness of the public on the ecological values of the National Park.
It is open daily (weekends and holidays included), from 8:00 until 16:00 and visitors may get information about the National Park, organizing and scheduling educational visits and tours in the Forest, while they may also acquire printed material or visit the library. Moreover, the Information Centre hosts an exhibition room with photographs an information on the National Park, as well as a projection room, where documentaries about the area and other videos are projected. At the Information Centre there is also a souvenir shop with gifts made from natural materials and handmade products from the cooperatives of the region.
The Information Centre will give you the opportunity to learn more about the ecosystem of the Dadia-Lefkimi-Soufli Forest and the rare raptors that inhabit the area and acquire information about the National Park as well as other interesting places across the Evros Prefecture.
