If you prefer public transportation, the buses run regularly while there is a railway connection from Alexandroupolis to Soufli.<br \/>\nAlexandroupolis is at a distance of ca\u00a0850 km from Athens and 330 km from Thessaloniki. The route will take you 10 hours from Athens and 3.5 hours from Thessaloniki by car.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong> GETTING HERE BY <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ktelevrou.gr\/home2\/index.php\">KTEL <\/a>(BUS SERVICE)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Buses from Athens to\u00a0Alexandroupolis run daily and the trip\u00a0duration is about 11 hours. From Thessaloniki, six buses run daily and the trip lasts 5 hours.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>GETTING HERE BY <a href=\"https:\/\/tickets.trainose.gr\/dromologia\/\">TRAIN<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Several trains run daily from Athens to Alexandroupolis. You may choose between the simple passenger train (16 hours) and intercity network (12 hours).
